1975 2LP gatefold reissue comp. Jacket strong VG++, hint of ring wear. Side one and the first two selections on side two originally released as "Saxophone Colossus" (Prestige 7079). Other tunes on this album were released as "Sonny Boy" (Prestige 7207), "Sonny Rollins Plays For Bird" (Prestige 7095) and Sonny Rollins Plus Four" (prestige 7038). Given a choice between reissues made from 50 plus year old mastertapes or LP's mastered from less than twenty year old tapes (which these LP's were), it's an easy decision.
